Health Data Research Network Canada (HDRN Canada) Pragmatic Trials Training Program offers a valuable opportunity for researchers, health professionals, and clinicians to learn about the complex art of pragmatic clinical trial design and implementation.
More than 75 learners from across Canada have been admitted to the two-year pan-Canadian program which features access to peer-group discussions, virtual conferences, and training on indigenous knowledge.
The program now offers open-access training modules to anyone interested in learning how to conduct clinical trials. Modules available are updated weekly, and each module covers one aspect of trial design and implementation, from statistical analysis to quality control and oversight, as well as other trial components.
This program is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, coordinated by the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University, and is an initiative of HDRN Canada.
